Acceptance certificate of geodetic layout for construction is an official document, which is drawn up after the works on construction site layout with the use of geodetic methods and equipment. It confirms the compliance of the completed layout base with the design solutions and regulatory requirements.

The geodetic layout base (GLB) is handed over to the Contractor for further performance of construction works. On the basis of the act and the scheme attached to it, the object is accurately georeferenced. The scheme contains coordinates of reference points, their marks, as well as XY-axis georeferencing.

Such a document is an integral part of the process of new construction of buildings or structures. It allows to determine the boundaries and axes of the construction object, ensuring the accuracy of its location. Reperses and reference points specified in the act are subject to mandatory protection in accordance with the regulatory requirements governing geodetic support of construction.

External breakdown network

Creation of the external network of breakdown is the first stage for sub-detail breakdown and execution survey of all elements of the object. The reference points of external networks fully duplicate the characteristics of the capital construction object (CCE), which are laid down in the design documentation. This process ensures that future building structures are exactly in line with their design provisions.

Planned grid layout

The planning grid includes lines used to regulate construction installation works (CIP) as well as the construction grid. The latter is formed by the intersecting lines of the main survey axes (MSA). The size of sides in the cells of the construction grid varies and can be, for example, 50, 100 or 200 meters, depending on the accuracy requirements of the project. The parameters are selected by specialists taking into account the specifics of the object and the accuracy stipulated in the project documentation.

Methods of construction of geodetic networks

The following methods are used to construct geodetic networks that provide high accuracy:

Triangulation

The triangulation method is based on the creation of a system of triangles for which measurements of side lengths and bases are made. The obtained data are used to accurately calculate the coordinates of reference points and determine their mutual position. This method provides a reliable basis for geodetic works.

Polygonometry

The method of polygonometry involves successive connection of selected points on the plot, forming a so-called polygonometric stroke. The starting point is usually tied to a reference point with known coordinates in advance. Then the lengths of connecting lines and angles between them are measured. The end point of the course is also referenced to the starting point, which allows you to check the accuracy of measurements and eliminate errors. The master plan and drawings show all geodetic signs, their coordinates and location.

These methods and approaches provide a reliable basis for accurate execution of construction and installation works, as well as preparation of high-quality executive documentation.

The certificates of survey are drawn up by:

  • Construction organization project (COP);
  • PPR for construction works;
  • Working Documentation (WD);
  • Architectural Decisions (AD).

In order to speed up the process of development of geodetic base acceptance certificates, it is preferable to provide project materials in editable *dwg format. However, if you have materials available only in *pdf format, it is not a problem, we will be able to work with them.

How we work:

The initial stage includes a meeting with the customer to discuss the requirements for the geodetic basis and clarify all the details of the project. At this stage, the work schedule and contract terms are also agreed upon.

The contractor prepares the necessary equipment and materials to perform the geodetic survey. This may include purchasing and calibrating specialized instruments, preparing transportation and other preparatory activities.

Specialists perform geodetic measurements and works on the site of the construction object. This includes the determination of coordinates and elevations, surveying of site contours, measurements and other measurements required to create a geodetic base acceptance certificate.

The received data are processed and analyzed using specialized software. This makes it possible to create an accurate and reliable geodetic basis and prepare a corresponding acceptance certificate.

On the basis of the processed data the act of acceptance of the geodetic base is drawn up. The act records all obtained measurement results, as well as the conclusions and recommendations of specialists.

Once the acceptance report has been finalized, it shall be submitted to the Purchaser for review and approval. If necessary, adjustments or additions to the acceptance report may be made.

After approval of the act of acceptance of the geodetic base, the contractor completes the work and hands over all the necessary documents to the customer.

Once the work is completed, the client receives a finished result that has passed quality control and meets their expectations.
