Romanov Dvor Business Center is a building that combines modern architecture with the classic elegance of a historical quarter in the heart of Moscow

The client requested to restore the geometry and appearance of a concrete staircase after a failed installation by the previous contractor. Cracks, delaminations and defects had to be repaired
Geometric accuracy. The main task was to restore the shape of the staircase structures while respecting all the design angles and lines, in order to return the architect's authorial intention
Aesthetics and material. We strived to achieve a natural concrete pattern and texture while maintaining the monolithic and expressive nature of the structure
Strength and durability. The surface has been reinforced with special penetrating compounds to ensure resistance to wear and tear and operational stresses.
Minimal noise and dust. The work was performed at night so as not to disturb neighboring offices
Responsibility for the result. We did not limit ourselves to correcting defects, but brought the surface to such a quality that the decorative coating became redundant - the customer rejected the microcement coating in favor of a natural concrete finish
Application of diamond grinding with spherical tools for precise correction of complex shapes
Elimination of defects and reinforcement of concrete with technological compositions
Formation of homogeneous texture and depth of color without the use of decorative coatings
Surface hardening for durable operation

The project began with a detailed discussion of the task at hand and an analysis of the condition of the staircase structure damaged after the initial installation. Together with the architect and the client's representatives, a precise plan for restoring the geometry and surface was developed, treatment methods were determined and technological solutions were agreed upon to preserve the author's intention
At the next stage, our team built up individual sections to restore the design angles and proportions of the staircase. All defects - cracks, chips, delaminations - were repaired using reinforcing compounds that ensured monolithic construction and high adhesion between the layers
The final stage was a step-by-step coating treatment, during which the staircase was given a noble texture and the natural gray-graphite color of concrete. Thanks to fine work with the material, the surface gained depth, expressiveness and durability, allowing the customer to abandon the decorative coating in favor of pure architectural concrete
